WHO WE ARE
Materialis SIA ("Materialis", "we", "us") is a company registered in Latvia (Reg. No. 40203716394), providing additive manufacturing services. Our website is materialis.lv. Contact: info@materialis.lv
WHAT DATA WE COLLECT
We collect the following personal data only when you voluntarily submit it through our contact or quote forms:
- Full name
- Email address
- Phone number (optional)
- Company name (optional)
- Uploaded 3D model files (STL, 3MF, STEP)
- Notes or messages you include
We also collect technical data automatically via analytics (see section 5).
WHY WE COLLECT IT AND LEGAL BASIS
Purpose: To respond to quote requests and enquiries.
Legal basis: Legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) and, where applicable, performance of a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
We do not use your data for marketing without your explicit consent.
HOW LONG WE KEEP IT
Quote enquiry data is retained for 3 years for business record purposes, then securely deleted. You may request deletion at any time (see section 7).
ANALYTICS
Our website uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4). Analytics cookies are only set after you provide explicit consent via our cookie banner — see the Cookie Policy for details.
WHO WE SHARE DATA WITH
We do not sell your data. We may share it with:
All processors are bound by data processing agreements compliant with GDPR.
- Hostinger, UAB (Lithuania) — our hosting provider, and Hostinger Mail for sending and receiving info@materialis.lv and clients@materialis.lv email
- Web3Forms — processes the text fields of quote and contact form submissions (name, email, phone, message)
- Files attached to a quote request are emailed directly to clients@materialis.lv and are not stored on our server or with any other third party
- Cloudflare (Turnstile) — spam-protection check on our forms, which sees your IP address
- Google Fonts — loads typefaces from Google’s servers, which sees your IP address on every page load
- Google LLC (Google Analytics 4), where analytics consent has been given
YOUR RIGHTS UNDER GDPR
You have the right to:
- Access the data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Request deletion ("right to be forgotten")
- Object to processing
- Data portability
- Lodge a complaint with the Latvian Data State Inspectorate (dvi.gov.lv)

DATA SECURITY
We use standard industry security measures. 3D model files submitted via the quote form are transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS).
CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We will notify users of material changes by updating the "last updated" date above and, where appropriate, via a notice on the website.
